Dreadball - How to paint Greenmoon Smackers Marauder Team

 

 

I will show you how I painted the orcs models, but the same technique can be used for the goblins.

 

 

Aqui verás como he pintado los orcos, pero puedes aplicar la misma técnica para los goblins.



 

 

First,  apply a thin layer of black undercoat. I used spray for this one a few months ago, but after having some incident I disregard the used of spray.

 

Aplica una capa de imprimación negra. Para esta miniatura utilicé un spray de imprimación pero desde entonces he tenido varios percances que me han hecho desaconsejar el uso de este y optar por la aplicación a pincel.

 

 

 

Use Loren Forest as base colour for skin

 

Usa Loren Forest  como color base para la piel



Apply shade with a layer of ink Biel-Tan Green

Aplica sombreado usando tinta Biel-Tan Green

Hightlight the skin on the edges with Loren Forest

Ilumina los relieves de la piel con Loren Forest

Now mix Lorent Forest with Ushabti Bone to highlight the skin a bit more

Usa una mezcla de Lorent Forest yUshabti Bone para iluminar la piel un poco mas

Paint inside the mouth with a layer of black color

Pinta el interior de la boca de negro

Use Mephiston Red to pain the lines of the eyes. You can also use a Yellow color to paint small dots over the red lines as pupils.

Usa Mephiston Red para pintar la linea de los ojos. Puedes pintar unos pequeños puntos amarillos encima de ellos para las pupilas.

Use any pink colour for the tongue.

Usa cualquier rosa para la lengua.

And Pallid Wych Flesh for the teeth

Y Pallid Wych Flesh para los dientes

For the armour, I used Pink Horror as main colour.

Para la armadura usé Pink Horror como color principal.

 

 

I mixed Pink Horror and White Scar and painted small lines in all the borders of the armour.

 

 

Mezcla  Pink Horror and White Scar para pintar todos los bordes de la armadura.

Next, apply a layer of Bloodletter to blend both tones.

Aplica una capa Bloodletter para combinar suavemente ambas tonalidades

As armour second tone, use Mechanicus Standard Grey. I also used the same greys for the piece of fabric.

Para la segunda tonalidad de la armadura, usa Mechanicus Standard Grey. Tambien usé la misma combinación de grises para el pedazo de tela.

 

 

And drybrush that layer with Dawnstone for hightlightings

 

Y dale una capa de pincel seco con Dawnstone para iluminarla

 

 

Use some Metalic Silver tone for the remaining parts.

 

Usa algun color Plateado para el resto de piezas de la armadura. 

 

In this model, I adorned the helmet using Gehenna´s Gold

Para este modelo, adorné el casco usando Gehenna´s Gold

Next, apply a layer of Nuln Oil on the grey and silver parts of the armour.

A continuación aplica una capa de Nuln Oil en las partes grices y plateadas de la armadura.

 

 

Use XV-88 for the straps



Usa XV-88 en las correas

And Pallid Wych Flesh for the nails

Y Pallid Wych Flesh para las uñas

Next, apply a layer of Agrax Earthshade on the golden part of the helmet, the nails, the teeth and the straps.

A continuación aplica una capa de Agrax Earthshade en la parte dorada del casco, las uñas, los dientes y las correas.

Paint a broad numbers in the shoulders using white or black depending on the colour above.

Pinta los numeros en las hombreras usando blanco o negro dependiendo del color de estas.

Now paint a thinner lines for the interior of the number using opposite tones. I.e. white for the black and red for the white.

Ahora pinta el interior de los números con lineas mas delgadas, usando tonos que contrasten con los anteriores. Por ejemplo blanco sobre negro y rojo sobre blanco.

Mix a bit of Lahmian Medium with a bit of Nuln Oil. Use that mixure to emphasize the lines and different parts of the armour.

Usa una mezcla de Lahmian Medium y Nuln Oil para resaltar las fisuras y distintas partes de la armadura.

Apply Matt Varnish to remove brights from the inks.

Aplica una capa de barniz mate para eliminar los brillos de las tintas.

Try different combinations when painting the armour on the rest of the team.

Prueba distintas combinaciones en los colores de la armadura cuando pintes el resto de los componentes del equipo.
